<p>Real Madrid have reportedly ignored club legend Modric’s request for a contract renewal, meaning the upcoming match against Real Sociedad at the Bernabeu could be his final appearance in front of the home crowd. According to Miguel Angel Diaz, speaking on <a href="https://www.cope.es/programas/el-partidazo-de-cope/audios/juanma-castano-sorprende-postura-real-madrid-renovacion-modric-da-finiquitado-20250521_3155057.html" target="_blank">COPE's El Partidazo</a>, Modric will not continue at the club beyond the Club World Cup, with his current deal set to expire on June 30.</p>
