<p>Bellingham <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/will-jude-bellingham-fit-champions-league-real-madrid-fitness-update-shoulder-injury-scare/bltddaf87fcc45dbc89" target="_blank">sustained a shoulder injury in November</a> after a collision with an opponent during his team's 0-0 draw against Rayo Vallecano. <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/should-real-madrid-and-england-be-worried-about-jude-bellingham-s-injured-shoulder/blt8aa7c3ed03f7ec24" target="_blank">He has played with a pad on his shoulder since then to prevent further injuries</a>.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>The England international was originally <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/jude-bellingham-injury-fear-why-real-madrid-star-three-months-out-england-ballon-d-or-contender-euro-2024/blt299f148b93abece9" target="_blank">expected to undergo surgery after the European Championship with the Three Lions</a>, as was fellow Madrid player Brahim Diaz, who is also struggling with a shoulder issue, but <a href="https://as.com/futbol/ni-bellingham-ni-brahim-se-operaran-n/" target="_blank"><em>AS</em></a><em> </em>reports that neither player will go under the knife this summer.</p>

<p>Bellingham enjoyed a magnificent debut season at Real Madrid, scoring 19 goals and setting up a further six as Carlo Ancelotti's side won La Liga. He also netted four and assisted five times as they claimed another Champions League crown.</p>
