The Lionesses booked their place in Euro 2025 after managing a <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/england-women-player-ratings-sweden-hannah-hampton-georgia-stanway-lionesses-euro-2025/blt3b1065a47c4cb70a" target="_blank">nervy goalless draw against Sweden</a> on Tuesday in their final qualifying match. The reigning champions secured their place in the main tournament after finishing second in the group behind France.

After the game, England stars Bright and Mead paid a wonderful tribute to their former team-mate <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/rachel-daly-shock-retirement-lionesses-hours-after-euro-2025-qualifying/bltc5e760d38a76696b" target="_blank">Rachel Daly who brought the curtain down on her international career</a> in April this year. Shortly after the Euro 2025 qualifying fixture, the Aston Villa striker announced her retirement.
