<p>Executives from England's top flight have had to postpone their scheduled meeting with the other 19 clubs in the division following Manchester City's recent legal victory regarding commercial deals. </p><p>The Premier League champions won a case regarding associated party transactions, which are supposed to ensure any sponsorships linked to the club's ownership represent fair market value. </p><p>After City complained that their rules were misleading, it was declared that the current regulations were void. </p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p><a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/man-city-war-premier-league-leaked-email-19-other-clubs-statement/blt0241dd970bc28584" target="_blank">City sent a letter to other clubs</a> threatening further legal action should any new rules be immediately imposed. </p><p>The scheduled meeting between those observing and the Premier League was due to discuss how they should respond to the outcome. </p><p>Now, everyone has been left in the dark and is awaiting a new date in the middle of an already busy campaign. </p>
