A supporter was able to get onto the pitch and approach Newcastle stopper Dubravka <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/chelsea-player-ratings-vs-newcastle-mudryk-petrovic-badiashile/blt0c0e24da5e964312" target="_blank">after Mykhailo Mudryk had equalised</a> in stoppage time for the hosts. The supporter jostled the goalkeeper and celebrated in his face before running back to the stands at Stamford Bridge.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino condemned the incident after the game, stating: "I didn't see it but I listen afterwards. My opinion? Always, I think we need to be careful, the fans need to be careful. I don't like this type of thing because it can put in danger the players."Of course, I am disappointed. I do not agree with this type of thing that happen in football here at Stamford Bridge and I don't agree if it happens in another stadium in England or around the world. Chelsea went on to win the game on penalties after Mudryk's goal saw the match end 1-1 after 90 minutes. A miss from Kieran Trippier and a save by Chelsea goalkeeper from Matt Ritchie secured a 4-2 shootout win and a place in the semi-finals for the Blues.
