WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>In an interview with Manchester City last year,<a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/phil-foden-man-city-fishing-trip/blt41356b8e9e2383b4" target="_blank"> Foden had revealed that he thoroughly enjoys fishing during his off days</a> as he spoke about his unique hobby. During the interview, he said: "The odd one likes fishing, so when people find out they say, 'What a weird sport to enjoy'. They don't understand why you enjoy it. I think it's the perfect hobby to rest your legs and have some downtime."</p>

<p>The 24-year-old midfielder was granted an extended period off by Manchester City and Pep Guardiola after reaching the Euro final in Berlin against Spain last month. Foden is expected to return to training on August 5 with an eye on returning for their clash against Manchester United on August 10.</p>
