After Alejandro Garnacho put United ahead with eight minutes left, Bobb collected the ball in the 89th minute and clipped a cross towards Silva who headed level. It was one of many occasions that the 21-year-old looked threatening for Guardiola's side, with the Norwegian enjoying an impressive pre-season in the absence of various big names.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

Despite his stellar performance, Guardiola demanded more from his promising youngster. He said: "We want more. Sometimes he had the chance to take the ball and go and he was a little bit passive. He has something unique; be stopped then go, first one or two steps, right or left are unbelievable. The goal, how he turns and make the cross, huge quality. He has incredible values and work ethic. He has the ability to do it and he can do it more regularly."

WHAT GUARDIOLA SAID
