'I enjoyed myself in prison' - Patrice Evra posts bizarre video in handcuffs and uniform after jail sentence

<p>It was reported on Friday that<a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/former-man-utd-patrice-evra-sentenced-prison-family-abandonment/bltf9fe178d3f6b4f43" target="_blank"> Evra has been handed a 12-month suspended prison sentence</a> for abandoning his family over a two-year period. The former Manchester United defender owed £800,000 ($1m) in alimony payments to his former partner, Sandra.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>In addition to the two-year suspended sentence, Evra must pay €4,000 (£3,300/$4,300) for moral damages and <span>€2,000 (£1,600/$2,100)</span> in legal costs. The 43-year-old appealed the verdict and, judging by his response on Instagram, isn't taking the matter too seriously.</p>
