Fernandez has been called out for live streaming himself and his Argentina team-mates singing a song that questions the heritage of some of the French national players. The 23-year-old has <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/enzo-fernandez-apology-france-song-argentina-copa-america-celebrations-chelsea-furious/blt138381b0c45d3e94" target="_blank">since apologised</a>, suggesting he meant no harm and that he is sorry for his behaviour. Now, Chelsea compatriot Jackson has posted online in support of the midfielder.

WHAT JACKSON SAID

<a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/chelsea-issue-strong-statement-enzo-fernandez-s-argentina-chant-wesley-fofana-uninhibited-racism/bltf3ade0d9e2af3dc4#csc1180cf0d77b3048" target="_blank">Chelsea have also released a statement</a> saying they will investigate the incident, but it is still likely going to cause internal issues in West London. <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/chelsea-squad-very-angry-enzo-fernandez-footage-argentina-squad-singing-racist-discriminatory-song-french-football-federation-hints-legal-action/blt3c7a923d65fafe13" target="_blank">Wesley Fofana publicly shamed Fernandez</a> for his behaviour on social media and it is yet to be seen whether they can mend their relationship ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.
