<p>The outspoken French forward has got involved in yet another social media battle, this time with Manchester United legend Scholes. In an interaction on <em>The Overlap Fan Debate</em> by Sky Bet, Scholes was asked about Maupay <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/tottenham-james-maddison-brentford-neal-maupay/blt877decb07ffbf9c4" target="_blank">imitating James Maddison's 'throwing the dart' celebration</a>, to which the former England international said: "He just takes the p*ss."</p>

WHAT NEAL MAUPAY SAID

<p>Maupay referred to a video of Scholes sucking the toes of his daughter in a viral Instagram post from 2021. The Frenchman is known for his social media battles - back in December, <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/marseille-loanee-neal-maupay-hot-water-parent-club-everton-after-latest-social-media-dig/blt278826fba3b19a19#cs1d27f1f363362bbb" target="_blank">he took aim at his parent club</a>, who were going through a rough patch of form in the Premier League.</p>
