<p>Monterrey FC has been forced to relocate their CONCACAF Champions Cup last 16 second leg against Vancouver Whitecaps due to a scheduling conflict with Shakira's <em>Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran</em> world tour. The match, originally set to take place at BBVA Stadium on March 12, will now be held at Estadio Corona in Torreon, home of Liga MX side Santos Laguna. Reports indicated that the Liga MX side considered pushing the game but that option was <a href="https://www.espn.com/soccer/story/_/id/44058231/shakira-tour-monterrey-move-concacaf-champions-cup-game" target="_self">scrapped after they found a replacement.</a></p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Monterrey are heavy favorites for their tie against the MLS side. <p>Vancouver doesn't have the same level of history as Monterrey in the Champions Cup. The farthest the team has gone in the tournament was in the 2016-17 season, where the club reached the tournament's semifinal. </p>

<p>Before their CONCACAF Champions Cup tie against Monterrey, Vancouver Whitecaps will focus on their second league game of the season against LA Galaxy on March 2.
