While the Belgian midfielder is yet to make a final call on his next destination, he has been <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/kevin-de-bruyne-future-gives-green-light-transfer-makes-big-call-mls-switch/bltf958bed672b19d93" target="_blank">linked with a move to Major League Soccer in the US</a>. </p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Amid speculation over De Bruyne's future, Liverpool star Salah jokingly extended an invitation to the Belgian to join the Reds as a free agent ahead of the 2025-26 campaign. After the Cityzens' FA Cup final loss against Crystal Palace, the 33-year-old had even <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/kevin-de-bruyne-join-man-city-rivals-next-plans-fa-cup/bltc0b9f7ef7a0e081f#cs040a3dfa7c496ad3" target="_blank">hinted that he might opt to stay back in the Premier League</a>.</p>
