<p>After being eliminated by América in the Champions Cup, Chivas visited FC Juárez in Matchday 12 of the Clausura 2025. A goal by Miguel Gómez in the 80th minute prevented Gerardo Espinoza's team from suffering another defeat, this time in Liga MX. FC Juárez took the lead with a goal from former Chivas player Ángel Zaldívar, but both sides would ultimately settle for a 1-1 draw.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>With tonight's draw at FC Juárez, Chivas remain in 10th place in the Clausura 2025 after securing their second consecutive draw. The <em>Rojiblancos </em>occupy the last spot for teams qualifying for the Play-In, and if Pumas manage to win this Sunday against <em>Rayados,</em> they could send Chivas into the elimination spots.</p>

<p>Miguel Gómez, 22 years old, scored his first goal in Liga MX and it came at a crucial time. The goal came off Chivas' first shot on target in the entire match against FC Juárez. It came in the 80th minute.</p>
