<p>The 34-year-old <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/did-michail-antonio-suffer-multiple-fractures-west-ham-forward-informed-key-for-potential-return-horror-car-crash/blt2ca346823c4bd20b" target="_blank">needed surgery on a broken leg</a> after crashing his £260,000 Ferrari in December. After being <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/timeline-michail-antonio-recovery-2025-write-off-west-ham-star-12-months-rehab-horror-car-crash/bltc4ef5f1ce4fa59ec#cs0950e8245fb9952f" target="_blank">discharged from hospital</a> before Christmas, <a href="https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/33243720/michail-antonio-rehab-car-crash-surgery-dubai-west-ham/" target="_blank"><em>The Sun</em></a> claims the striker is flying to Dubai on Friday to spend nearly a fortnight at a training facility in Dubai to help with his recovery.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>The Jamaica international is, arguably, lucky to be alive as a result of the crash, with the Hammers man having to be cut free from the wreckage and then airlifted to hospital. He is out of contract this summer and it remains to be seen if he will get a new West Ham deal.</p>

<p>Antonio has reportedly visited West Ham's training ground on a few occasions since <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/west-ham-appoint-graham-potter-replace-julen-lopetegui-head-coach-two-and-half-year/blt338ad95add14a10a" target="_blank">new head Graham Potter took charge</a> at London Stadium in January.</p>
