The 35-year-old not only turned down the opportunity, but followed it up by asking to compare hand sizes on the desk. Richards had previously participated in an arm wrestling contest live on-air for CBS, where the media outlet pit the ex-Manchester City man as a representative for England against ex-USMNT star Oguchi Onyewu. The American defender defeated Richards within seconds, and now, it appears the pundit has retired from shenanigans of a similar matter.

The Champions League returns this week with the first leg of the Round of 16 taking center-stage Tuesday and Wednesday. For Watt and Burnley, the Clarets return to the pitch against Arsenal on Saturday, February 17.
