According to the <a href="https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/mason-greenwood-makes-manchester-united-33184585" target="_blank">Daily Mirror</a>, Greenwood wants to know where he will be playing football in 2024-25 within the next week. The forward is described as "growing impatient" due to the uncertainty that continues to hang over him.

WHAT HAPPENED?

The only thing that does seem clear is that Greenwood, who remains under contract with United until 2025 with an option to extend by a further year, has no future at Old Trafford. The Mirror adds that he is "cool" on the idea of joining Marseille, despite reports to the contrary last month, and would still rather head back to La Liga after his loan with Getafe in 2023-24. United are asking £40 million ($51m) but have at best received a £25m offer from Valencia. There have been <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/lazio-increase-transfer-offer-man-utd-outcast-mason-greenwood-serie-a-giants-short-50m-valuation-battle-marseille/bltae165802f9e49cdc#cs1c4a8e321c60ae30" target="_blank">other rumours of a £21m bid from Lazio</a>. Barcelona and Atletico Madrid continue to monitor the situation, with Juventus also interested.

The official squad list on ManUtd.com has been updated since the end of last season and the departures of Anthony Martial and Raphael Varane, with all players - including Jadon Sancho - shown in the <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/man-utd-2024-25-home-kit-red-devils-snapdragon/bltba0ab2748ebd742b" target="_blank">new 2024-25 kit</a>. But Greenwood's thumbnail remains greyed out and continues to have an 'On Loan' label.
