<p>Greenwood has been a key figure for Getafe this season, scoring three goals and assisting four in 15 appearances in La Liga since his summer move. He <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/video-getafe-mason-greenwood-speaking-spanish-award/blt7a60b85e9a9efe64" target="_blank">accepted a Player of the Month award for December</a> on Friday and has opened up about his time in Spain.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>"Everything's fine, I adapted pretty quickly. My team-mates took me under their wing and I've just been happy ever since coming here, training and playing the games," Greenwood said. "The fans mean a lot to me. The best feeling so far is when I scored my first goal here at the stadium and it meant a lot to me, I heard the fans quite a lot. WHAT GREENWOOD SAID

<p>Greenwood's performances have helped lift Getafe to eighth in La Liga and in with a chance of qualifying for European football next season. Asked about his team's chances of at least reaching the UEFA Conference League, he said: "Yeah that's always a possibility. The coach reminds us of it and we all have an idea of it but we have to take it one game at a time but that's the end result we want to achieve."</p>
