As the Lionesses goalkeeper has <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/social-media-isn-t-real-lionesses-man-utd-mary-earps-2023-wasn-t-sunshine-rainbows-world-cup-spoty/blt2722d6b1da42a996" target="_blank">entered the final six months of her contract</a>, Earps is now eligible to engage in talks with clubs outside of England, potentially exposing United to the risk of losing her on a free transfer this summer. However, according to The Telegraph, she is open to the possibility of staying at United beyond the expiration of her current contract which should relieve the Red Devils faithful.

Man United are actively engaging in discussions to secure a new deal with the talented England No 1. After winning the BBC’s Sports Personality Of The Year award, Earps expressed her frustration with the speculation around her future and insisted that her focus remains on football.“I’ve remained quiet for a reason. I feel I’ve behaved with a lot of integrity through this whole situation," she told reporters. "A lot of stuff that’s been put out isn’t true. I want to say more but I can’t at this stage and it’s really hard for me to sit quietly when I see a lot of things that are not right. I think it’s an injustice but I know the appropriate thing to do is focus on my football and see what happens from there.”
