<p>Mario Balotelli has made headlines once again, this time with a cryptic message following his three-month absence from the Genoa squad. In a bizarre post on Instagram, the controversial striker referenced actor Kevin Spacey and warned he might unleash his "rebellious 16-year-old" self.  </p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Balotelli joined Genoa as a free agent in October 2024 after leaving Adana Demirspor. He reunited with <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/patrick-vieira-link-up-with-mario-balotelli-set-to-be-named-new-genoa-boss-decide-to-sack-alberto-gilardino/blt4cdb1d38d59b469d#cs0dda3daeba7e34b4" target="_blank">Patrick Vieira, who replaced Alberto Gilardino as head coach of the club</a>. However, the 34-year-old Italian forward has played just 56 minutes under the Arsenal legend and has been absent from the Genoa squad for three months now.    </p>
