<p>The 27-year-old suffered a hamstring injury last month, one that was <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/marcus-rashford-season-over-aston-villa-loanee-highly-likely-miss-remainder-campaign-man-utd-future/bltbff465ffbf28dfa8" target="_blank">expected to rule him out for the season</a>. But the England international is said to be targeting a return this term, with <a href="https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/34740217/marcus-rashford-manchester-united-aston-villa-transfer/" target="_blank">The Sun</a> claiming he has flown to Dubai for a warm-weather rehab programme to speed up his recovery. </p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Rashford <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/man-utd-confirm-marcus-rashford-loan-transfer-to-aston-villa-gbp40m-buy-option-red-devils-also-reach-surprisingly-salary-agreement/blt99694fc63dfdf441" target="_blank">swapped United for Villa</a> on loan in early February and since then he has shown flashes of quality, something Red Devils fans have not seen for a while at Old Trafford. The Villans have an option to buy him permanently for £40 million ($53m/€47m) this summer but it remains to be seen if they will do that or if <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/marcus-rashford-snub-permanent-aston-villa-transfer-attacker-life-after-man-utd-dream-move/blt1a411dc77a7e37b7" target="_blank">his future lies elsewhere</a>.</p>
