<p>Rashford's poor 2023/24 season with Manchester United meant he was <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-in/lists/star-players-missing-euro-2024-injury-suspension-not-selected/blt14e111a04ab18e50" target="_blank">left out of the Three Lions' selection</a> with the likes of Eberechi Eze, Cole Palmer and Ivan Toney selected ahead of him despite his experience with international tournaments. </p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>The Three Lions' start to the Euros has been less than optimal as they struggled to a 1-0 win over Serbia in their opener and fell to a 1-1 draw against Denmark on Thursday. Rashford's brother, Dwaine Maynard, who also plays the role of his footballing agent, <a href="https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1803907498186768491" target="_blank">has now fired shots at Southgate for failing to select the Red Devils winger.</a> </p>

<p>It is obvious Maynard was hinting towards the omission of Rashford from the 26-man squad, however, Southgate will have no options but to contend with the squad he has available when they take on Slovenia on June 25 in their final group stage match.</p>
