<p>The ex-Ajax star's fantastic start to life in La Liga sent fans crazy on social media, with <a href="https://x.com/ChandlerBing_12/status/1886147029459435586" target="_blank">@ChandlerBing_12</a> writing on X: "Antony Ballon Dor incoming with Betis".</p><p>"Anthony keeping it electric," said <a href="https://x.com/annaintslow/status/1886146870952472741" target="_blank">@annaintslow</a>, while <a href="https://x.com/LFCAmericanReds/status/1886151141601268122" target="_blank">@LFCAmericanReds</a> argued his poor form at Old Trafford was not his fault, saying: "United was the problem. <p>Antony faced heavy criticism for his underwhelming displays at United after the club paid £85 million ($106m) to sign him from Ajax. He managed 14 appearances and just three starts in all competitions this season before he was loaned to Betis, who do not have a buy option on the Brazil international.</p>

<p>Antony was substituted after 72 minutes against Athletic Club as Betis were eventually held to a 2-2 draw. The United loanee will hope to be back in the starting XI when Betis face Celta Vigo in their next game.</p>
