<p>Per <a href="https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2025/02/15/man-utd-warn-staff-stop-damaging-leaks-over-350-job-losses/" target="_blank"><em>The Telegraph</em></a>, INEOS has sent out an email to their staff warning employees against 'damaging leaks' regarding the <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/man-utd-last-century-sir-jim-ratcliffe-promises-more-unpopular-decisions/bltabf299b70e566069" target="_blank">company's policy of cost-cutting at Old Trafford</a>. The email was sent to convey that Sir Jim Ratcliffe's company will conduct a restructuring meeting in February. The email read: “Any leaks, whether accidental or intended, can be damaging to colleagues and the wider club."</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Earlier this week, <a href="https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/c74me120lv8o" target="_blank"><em>BBC Sport</em></a> reported that <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/ineos-200-man-utd-jobs-under-threat-part-owners-brutal-cost-cutting/blt7fcd5cfcdf24908b#csae68935f8fa61164" target="_blank">INEOS is considering making up to 200 redundancies</a> and a final decision is expected to be made in the next two weeks. According to <a href="https://www.theguardian.com/football/2025/feb/15/manchester-united-likely-to-slash-scouting-network-next-redundancies-jim-ratcliffe" target="_blank"><em>The Guardian</em></a>, INEOS is also planning to reduce the number of club scouts. The Red Devils currently employ 80 scouts worldwide, out of which 30 are full-time employees while 50 are there on a part-time basis. According to the report, the company want to significantly reduce the number.</p>
