Manchester United are looking to sign a new centre-back this season following a poor defensive season and as they look to cover the departure of Raphael Varane. As per French publication <a href="https://sportwitness.co.uk/manchester-united-considering-e12-15m-bargain-addition-summer-fortunate-player/" target="_self">RMC Sports</a>, Solet has become a potential target for the Red Devils with Ten Hag interested in a number of defensive targets.

WHAT HAPPENED?

The centre-back has had a very good season in the centre of defence for Gerhard Struber's side, and Salzburg are reportedly expecting around €12m-15m for the defender. His current deal is set to end in the summer of 2025 and he is keen on making a move away this summer.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

Last month, RMC Sport had also linked the 24-year-old with a move to West Ham, who are also looking to solidify their defence following the departure of David Moyes from the helm of the club. However, that deal has not progressed anywhere and it could be possible that the Red Devils could face competition from the London side.
