WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>This comes hot on the heels of United centre-back <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/harry-maguire-helped-off-pitch-man-utd-medical-staff-worrying-scenes-aston-villa-erik-ten-hag-misery-deepens/blt0c714157eff1f8eb" target="_blank">Harry Maguire limping off injured against Villa</a> at the weekend, and winger Alejandro Garnacho withdrawing from the Argentina squad with a <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/more-injury-man-utd-alejandro-garnacho-forced-to-withdraw-from-argentina-knee-issue/blt215e2d4136786da0" target="_blank">knee issue</a>. Kobbie Mainoo has also withdrawn from the latest England squad through injury. Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag was hit with a hefty amount of injuries last season and with Leny Yoro, Tyrell Malacia, Luke Shaw and Mason Mount also sidelined, he will hope that bad luck doesn't befall them again this term.</p>

<p>Mazraoui swapped Bayern Munich for United this summer and since then he has made 10 appearances in all competitions and made the right-back role his own. In a difficult season for the Red Devils, he has, arguably, been one of their few positives. </p>
