Newcastle have been credited with interest in the 25-year-old but he may have been swayed by the prospect of <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/man-utd-battle-arsenal-matheus-cunha-wolves-star-agent-talks-gbp62-5m-transfer/bltd32182a7c34bb4e8" target="_blank">joining the Red Devils instead</a>.</p>
