<p>Greenwood joined Marseille last summer on a five-year deal from Manchester United and has largely impressed in France thus far. The 23-year-old forward has already scored 17 goals in 30 appearances across all competitions for the Ligue 1 side and has also provided four assists.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>The ex-United star is now attracting interest from Saudi Arabia, with a €90 million (£76.5m/$100m) offer now on the table for the Marseille star ahead of the summer window, according to <a href="https://www.fichajes.net/noticias/oferta-90-millones-mason-greenwood-20250412.html" target="_blank"><em>Fichajes</em></a>. If Greenwood does end up leaving the Ligue 1 club, there is a clause in his contract that stipulates United will receive half of his future sale value. This means that United will receive €45m from Greenwood's transfer to the Middle East if it goes through.</p>
