Season-ticket holders in the affected section only became aware of the change after receiving a brief message from the club on Monday.</p>

<p>The decision has sparked outrage, especially among the community of loyal fans in that area, who consider the move a betrayal. Many have voiced their concerns not just in private forums but in full public view, staging their protest directly in front of the club’s new CEO, Omar Berrada, and technical director Jason Wilcox. <p>The decision is particularly cruel for older fans, many of whom have been seated in that section since season tickets were first introduced. These seats not only offer excellent views but also provide convenient access for individuals with limited mobility. For many of the senior supporters now being displaced, the location was ideal and irreplaceable.</p>

<p>To make matters worse, the club are also implementing changes to the pricing structure. Starting in the 2025-26 season, general admission season ticket prices will rise by 5 per cent, though there will be a freeze for under-16s. Additionally, the attendance requirement for season ticket holders will increase from 15 to 16 of the 19 Premier League home games. </p>
