<p>Portuguese outlet <a href="https://maisfutebol.iol.pt/sporting/gyokeres/gyokeres-arsenal-propoe-valor-abaixo-do-desejado-pelo-sporting" target="_blank">Mais Futebol</a> claim Arsenal are prepared to pay Sporting just under €60 million (£51m) for the striker, with bonuses on top taking it above that amount. United, on the other hand, are said to be considering a €60m bid with another €10m (£8.5m) in add-ons. However, the Portugal giants are reportedly holding out for €80m (£68m).</p><p></p>

<p>This comes at a time when <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/arsenal-transfer-proposal-viktor-gyokeres-blackmail-claims-rival-man-utd-juventus-sporting-striker/blt51a9b9f20db7f990#csea3871b63c8f50ee" target="_blank">allegations of blackmail at Sporting</a> have emerged, and Gyokeres has reportedly<a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/viktor-gyokeres-threatens-strike-sporting-broken-transfer-promise-man-utd-push-frontman/blt06a106839de30d10" target="_blank"> threatened to go on strike to force a transfer exit</a>. Despite that, it seems the Premier League teams will need to increase their offers to land the Sweden international this summer.</p>

<p>Since swapping Championship side Coventry City for Sporting in the summer of 2023, the 27-year-old has scored 97 goals and added 27 assists in just 102 games for the Lisbon outfit - while winning two Primeira Liga titles and the Taca de Portugal cup along the way.</p>
