Greenwood was given oxygen and stretchered off the pitch when she <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/man-city-alex-greenwood-horrific-head-injury-england-duty-arsenal/blt5975a3e7dbcc1ad0" target="_blank">suffered a horrific clash of heads</a> during England's 3-2 defeat to Belgium last month. She's now been given to the all-clear to return to action, just in time for Saturday's Manchester derby at Old Trafford. WHAT HAPPENED?

United and City will go head-to-head in a huge <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/women-s-super-league/6vq8j5p3av14nr3iuyi4okhjt" target="_blank">WSL </a>clash on Sunday. Old Trafford will host a women's Manchester derby for the very first time, quite the occasion for Greenwood to return for. Speaking to the media on Friday, City boss Gareth Taylor confirmed that Greenwood had passed all of the concussion protocols.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

On the red side of Manchester, United boss Marc Skinner revealed that midfielder Zelem is available for selection. "Katie [Zelem] wasn’t concussed, it was a cut," he said. "She’ll be fine, she’s been training this week. Evie Rabjohn has a small injury in her foot and won’t be available this weekend. Iri [Irene Guerrero] is probably a couple of weeks away. Aoife, obviously still. Everybody else [except ACLs] should be fit."

United could open up a five-point gap on neighbours City with a win at Old Trafford, but the Sky Blues will leapfrog United if they return to winning ways. What is certain is that it promises to be an enthralling contest.
