WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>PUMA's kit is a sustainable one, too, with the replica shirts made using RE:FIBRE, which uses recycled textile waste to make new materials. There are authentic and replica versions, with the latter offering a more relaxed fit and the former similar to what will be worn on matchdays by Erling Haaland and co.</p>

<p>Dickov scored against Gillingham and played a key role in their kit launch, telling the <a href="https://www.mancity.com/citytv/mens/202425-manchester-city-puma-away-kit-launch-video-63858693" target="_blank">official website</a>: “It’s fantastic to see this year’s away kit revealed today.</p><p>“The 1999 Play-Off final victory still remains a special moment for myself and City fans around the world and I know the kit from that day is remembered by those who were there and beyond.</p><p>“It’s a wonderful gesture by the club and PUMA to commemorate the anniversary with this year’s away kit.”</p>

<p>City kick off the latest defence of their Premier League title against Chelsea on August 18 at Stamford Bridge, after this weekend's Community Shield. They may well be wearing their new away kit in west London. </p>
