'Liverpool remind me of Real Madrid' - Steve McManaman confident Jurgen Klopp's flawed but free-flowing entertainers can win the Premier League title

Liverpool concede too many goals. There's no depth in defence. The make-up of the midfield is still not right. Manchester City are still too strong. Steve McManaman is acutely aware of all of the arguments being made against the Reds challenging for the title - and he gets it.

When it comes to this free-scoring but defensively-flawed Liverpool line-up, he understands the uncertainty. He appreciates the apprehension among the fans.
