Liverpool open negotiations for €25m Nurnberg striker as Reds look to beat Chelsea to teenager

<p>The 19-year-old forward joined Nurnberg from PAOK on a season-long loan deal in the summer and has been in sublime form for the Bundesliga 2 side, having scored eight goals in 14 league appearances. According to <a href="https://sport.sky.de/transfer/news/34132/13288164/fc-liverpool-meldet-sich-wegen-stefanos-tzimas-beim-1-fc-nuernberg" target="_blank"><em>Sky Germany</em></a>, the German club are looking to make Tzimas' transfer permanent in the January window for €18 million (£15m) before selling him for €25m (£20m) next summer.</p>

<p>The report adds that the teenage sensation has already attracted interest from top Premier League clubs like Liverpool, Chelsea, Brighton and Aston Villa along with some Bundesliga clubs. The Reds have approached Nurnberg and Tzimas' representatives to negotiate a deal for him as they look to pip the Blues to his signature this summer.</p>
