Szoboszlai, in excellent form, opened the scoring in the 11th minute, whereas, the second goal arrived in the 63rd minute, with Mac Allister making no mistake to find the net after a brilliant piece of play from Salah. </p>

<p>With this crucial victory, Liverpool have opened up a 13-point gap at the top of the Premier League standings. Arsenal, their nearest challengers, could only manage a 0-0 draw against Nottingham Forest, leaving the Reds with an increasingly commanding advantage, albeit having played a game more than the Gunners. </p>
