<p>After finishing third in the WSL last season, the Gunners travelled to the United States to begin preparing for the coming campaign. They have already beaten Washington Spirit while on tour and come up against Chelsea in Washington on Sunday.</p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>After the Gunners return from their pre-season tour, they will meet Southampton in a friendly at St Mary's Stadium before they come up against Rangers in Women's Champions League qualifying on September 4.</p>
