<p>Inter Miami are <a href="https://eu-app.contentstack.com/#!/stack/bltcc7a7ffd2fbf71f5/content-type/slide_list/en/entry/blt528d0b5beca56677/edit" target="_self">reportedly</a> set to complete the transfer of Venezuela international Telasco Segovia from Portuguese club Casa Pia to their squad. The 21-year-old will cost a fee of $2.5M, with Casa Pia retaining a 50 percent sell-on clause.</p><p>Segovia has eight caps with <em>La Vinotinto</em>, where he's scored one goal, and has also spent time with Sampdoria in Serie A, as well as with Venezuelan side Deportivo Lara.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Segovia primarily plays as a central midfielder, but can also feature as an attacking midfielder in the center of the pitch. In 15 appearances for Casa Pia this season, he has scored two goals.</p><p>At Miami, he will join a midfield core already featuring the likes of Sergio Busquets, Federico Redondo, Benjamin Cremaschi, David Ruiz, and Yannick Bright, among others beneath them in the pecking order.</p><p>The <em>Herons</em> are undergoing a rebuild under new manager Javier Mascherano, already <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-us/lists/lionel-messi-loses-key-inter-miami-teammate-diego-gomez-travels-to-england-complete-brighton-transfer/blt8c38d9e3af51eafc" target="_self">transferring star winger Diego Gomez to Premier League side Brighton</a>, while adding MLS veteran Fafa Picault as a free agent and signing forward Tadeo Allende on loan from Celta Vigo.</p>
