<p>Just over a year ago, Messi left Paris Saint-Germain and joined Inter Miami - <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/why-lionel-messi-snubbed-endless-money-join-inter-miami-opportunity-change-the-sport-mls/bltfdccfc69331e3fc5" target="_blank">turning down lucrative offers in the process</a>. Following his arrival at the Major League Soccer side, he gave each of his teammates a pair of custom pink and black Beats by Dre headphones to represent the colour of the club's kit. Now, he will be featured across the brand's marketing campaigns, promoting its lineup, while donning custom earphones, headphones, and speakers.</p>

WHAT LIONEL MESSI SAID

<p>This marks Beats' first MLS player signing since the brand announced its deal with the division as its official consumer audio partner earlier this year. Despite being in the twilight years of his career, the 37-year-old is still a massive drawcard for the sport and outside of it, too.</p>
