There are suggestions that Goodman is preparing to head for Germany this summer in order to support <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/euro-2024-power-rankings/blt747bf1ccd8153598" target="_blank">England’s bid for continental glory</a>.

It will inevitably create a drama and the noise surrounding it will be an unwelcome distraction for the team. England have the best chance of winning a major trophy since 1966 and they don’t need this. Kyle is focused on what he needs to do on the pitch and that has never wavered — but the gossip off it affects me and the children.”

WHAT KILNER SAID
