<p>Walker left English champions Manchester City in the January transfer window to join AC Milan on a short-term loan deal. Since moving to Italy, the full-back consistently performed for the Serie A giants which also earned him a call-up to the national team during the March international break. </p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Praising Walker's contribution to his new club, AC Milan legend Joe Jordan claimed that the youngsters at the club are gaining a 'wealth of knowledge' from the veteran defender. Jordan had earlier worked with Walker at Tottenham Hotspur when the 73-year-old used to assist then-manager Harry Redknapp.</p><p></p>

<p>Speaking <a href="https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/34132348/scott-mctominay-greatest-brits-italy-napoli-milan-jordan/" target="_blank"><em>SunSport</em></a>, Jordan said: "I know Kyle Walker because I coached him at Tottenham when Harry Redknapp was the manager, and we sold him to Manchester City. He may be in his 30s now, but he is a fantastic athlete — some players have pace, some have stamina, but Kyle’s blessed with both. Kyle’s an experienced operator, so, as much as he will learn from the Italians, he’ll be passing on a wealth of knowledge to Milan’s younger players too."</p>

WHAT JOE JORDAN SAID

<p><a href="https://www.calciomercato.com/news/milan-ecco-cosa-filtra-sul-futuro-di-walker-95928" target="_blank"><em>Calciomercatoweb</em></a> journalist Daniele Longo has reported that the Rossoneri have the option to sign Walker for €5 million (£4.17/$5.40m), a clause they are eager to trigger. The defender, too, is enjoying life in Italy and is <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/kyle-walker-man-city-star-makes-decision-ac-milan-loan-deal/blt21b7e5307d924ff6#csaf36baf62ca347ab" target="_blank">keen to continue his career at Milan</a> rather than return to the Premier League.</p>
