<p>The City captain's signing has been made a top priority for Milan in the January transfer window and while he is eager to make the switch, <a href="https://www.calciomercato.com/news/milan-walker-affare-in-dirittura-arrivo-tutti-i-dettagli-63618" target="_blank"><em>Calciomercato</em></a> reports that the Serie A side are instead proposing a loan move. The Rossoneri are willing to pay €1 million up front for the loan, but will have the option to buy him outright in the summer for around €5m.</p>

<p>Walker has been linked with a move away from City for some time having lost his place as a regular starter this season. He has started nine of the 15 Premier League matches he has featured in this term, while he has been limited to just two Champions League appearances. Coach <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/pep-guardiola-drops-kyle-walker-bombshell-after-leaving-man-city-star-out-fa-cup-win-salford-city/bltd7167cead16517e2" target="_blank">Pep Guardiola confirmed recently that the full-back has asked to leave the club this month</a> and it has even been reported that he had a <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/kyle-walker-man-city-leaving-party-serie-a-transfer-lauryn-goodman-marriage-annie-kilner/blt0701934673de37b6" target="_blank">private leaving party in anticipation of his imminent exit</a>.</p>
