<p>Walker has been in poor form this season for Manchester City as Pep Guardiola's side have struggled to maintain their quest for a fifth consecutive Premier League crown. As such, the club captain has not had a major role in the squad and has<a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/not-my-decision-pep-guardiola-wont-block-kyle-walker-man-city-exit-ac-milan-linked-defender-keep-playing-four-years/blta63f3e9c706b215f" target="_blank"> asked to leave</a> this month, with a move to AC Milan discussed. However, a loan move to Inter Milan is also on the cards with the Serie A champions keen to bolster their squad in January.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Walker was left out of Manchester City's squad for their 2-2 draw with Brentford with Guardiola having revealed that he had done so as the England international had asked to 'explore options to play abroad'. <p>Responding to an X user who claimed Walker "failed to show up for the match", the defender said: "Failed to turn up?</p><p>"I can’t be at Brentford and training at the same time. You may need to check your sources."</p>

WHAT WALKER SAID

<p>It is highly likely that Walker will leave Manchester City and the England international may not return to play again for the eight-time Premier League champions. He has reportedly turned down a move to Saudi Arabia in a bid to keep his spot in the England squad. </p>
