<p>Despite intense competition from Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United, PSG have emerged victorious in the pursuit of Kvaratskhelia’s signature, according to <a href="https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1879193708513677785" target="_blank"><em>Fabrizio Romano</em></a><em>. </em>This transfer follows PSG’s failed attempt to sign Kvaratskhelia and his Napoli team-mate Victor Osimhen during the 2024 summer window. Despite coming close to a double acquisition, the deal fell through, <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/january-transfer-window-2025-biggest-deals-graded/blt9952ccde74ca70a3" target="_blank">prompting PSG to revisit their interest in Kvaratskhelia</a> in January.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Kvaratskhelia has agreed to personal terms with PSG ahead of the move. The 23-year-old winger is set to commit to a five-year contract with the Parisian club. The deal could ultimately cost PSG close to €80 million (£68m/$82m) when performance-based bonuses are factored in.</p>

The club told me and he confirmed it," Conte informed. "I feel very disappointed because in these six months, I have put him at the centre of the project making him understand that something important could be done and I have worked with the club for the renewal, instead we are back to the beginning. Evidently, I have not been so incisive in convincing the parties to move forward together, today I find myself at a point where I have to take a step back."</p>
