WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Arsenal put on a very backs-to-the-wall performance at the Etihad Stadium to try and get a result against City. However, Havertz and Timber were not able to match the level of the match on the night as both the Arsenal stars ended the game with zero passes completed despite playing more than 89 minutes. As per <a href="https://x.com/OptaJoe/status/1837914194227740788" target="_blank">OptaJoe</a>, this is the first time since the 2003-04 season, that an outfield player has done so in the Premier League.</p>

<p>Havertz attempted a total of five passes and failed to complete all of them on the night, while Timber attempted six passes not to place a single one of them accurately at a teammate.</p>
