<p>Per journalist <a href="https://www.calciomercato.com/news/juventus-pazza-idea-per-lobiettivo-tonali-douglas-luiz-e-soldi-a-19733" target="_blank"><em>Daniele Longo</em></a>, <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/newcastle-juventus-douglas-luiz-plan-sandro-tonali-dusan-vlahovic/blt3c855fc35575e839" target="_blank">Juventus have shown strong interest in signing Italy international Tonali</a> from Newcastle United and are reportedly ready to include Luiz in the deal. The Brazilian midfielder, who left the Premier League last summer to join the Bianconeri from Aston Villa, has struggled for form this season and could head back to England.  </p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>The report adds that the Magpies will not entertain any transfer fee below €70 million (£59m/$79m), and they are yet to decide on Tonali's future. The Serie A giants, on the other hand, are determined to sign the Italian star and could offer Luiz plus €30m in cash.  </p>

<p>The Brazil international midfielder relocated to Italy along with his girlfriend Alisha Lehmann last year. However, unlike Luiz, Lehmann has had an impressive outing for the Turin-based team and is likely to stay at the club beyond the 2024-25 campaign. </p>
