<p>Multiple reports appear to suggest ex-Lazio boss Tudor will take the job before Juve's next game against Genoa. WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>In recent days, Juve had been linked with two other ex-players. <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/juventus-zinedine-zidane-ideal-replacement-thiago-motta-real-madrid-legend-isn-t-most-likely-candidate/bltb63f19747265da72#cs3c2c9bb04596db87" target="_self">Both Zinedine Zidane and Roberto Mancini were heavily linked with the position</a>, although it now appears Tudor will return to the club. Juve currently sit in 5th place in Serie A. </p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>Motta's Juve side have been a tough watch this season. Their back-to-back defeats to Atalanta and Fiorentina were just the second and third in the league this term. However, The Old Lady have drawn 13 of their 29 fixtures, the highest number of stalemates in the league. </p>

<p>Irrespective of who is in the dugout, Juve will host Genoa next Saturday. Despite their turgid form, they sit just one point behind Motta's previous employer Bologna in fourth. It remains to be seen if that will be enough for Champions League qualification, however.</p>
