Juventus reach full agreement with Jonathan David as Canada star's medical scheduled ahead of free transfer

<p>Italian club Juventus stayed in constant contact with David's agent to agree on the signing bonus and commissions, according to <a href="https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1940452334989197726" target="_blank">Fabrizio Romano.</a></p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>David became a free agent after spending five years at French club Lille, where he scored 109 goals in 200 appearances. Serie A champions Napoli and English club <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/man-utd-new-no-9-red-devils-three-teams-jonathan-david-wants-to-join-striker-transfer-dream/blt2cca1040d69bed82" target="_blank">Manchester United</a> was also interested in David, but <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/jonathan-david-tells-agent-juventus-deal-done-contract-agreement-serie-a-side/blt82a3158abb106c73" target="_self">Juventus' offer</a> of €6 million (£5m/$7m) along with Champions League football enticed the player to accept their offer.</p>

<p>Juventus are also interested in signing United's winger <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/juventus-three-stars-man-utd-swap-deal-jadon-sancho-usmnt-ace-tim-weah-douglas-luiz/blt48b8a7eabc795794" target="_blank">Jadon Sancho</a> after Chelsea decided against signing him at the end of his loan from United.
