<p>A mass celebration took place in the city on May 26, as thousands of fans from across the country made their way to Merseyside. A joyous occasion turned sour when a <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/police-arrest-man-after-driving-into-crowd-liverpool-supporters-during-premier-league-trophy-parade/bltde4ca0dc61d3600e" target="_blank">car was driven into the crowd of people packing busy streets</a>.</p>

<p>A 53-year-old man has been arrested, with 47 people left injured.
