The incident is likely to place more doubts over Salah's future at Liverpool. Carragher has already suggested a <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/jamie-carragher-mohamed-salah-future-liverpool-merseyside-derby-defeat/blt5a72ac52887bac57#cs9edea4347d3574be" target="_blank">"discussion needs to be had"</a> over the Egyptian after an anonymous display in the Merseyside derby against Everton. Salah is heading into the final year of his current contract at Liverpool and there is a possibility he could join Klopp in leaving Anfield in the summer.
