<p>On Friday, Bayern Munich announced that their star player <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/video-bayern-munich-evoke-memories-alexis-sanchez-infamous-man-utd-unveiling-confirmation-jamal-musiala-new-contract/blt4736b7b9a5391f76#cs350a35518f336233" target="_blank">Jamal Musiala has signed a new five-deal</a> and will remain at Allianz Arena until 2030. Musiala was <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/jamal-musiala-man-city-transfer-alert-bayern-munich-exit/blt3ab36a292eb93bec#csed10b4b0d425d534" target="_blank">linked with a move to English giants Manchester City</a> as he was nearing the end of his previous deal, however, the German international has now committed his future to the Bavarian side for the next five years. </p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Per <a href="https://sport.sky.de/transfer/news/34132/13309166/jamal-musiala-verlaengert-beim-fc-bayern-bis-2030" target="_blank"><em>Sky Sports Germany</em></a>, Bayern have included an eye-watering €175million (£145.5m/$180m) release clause which will be active between the summer of 2025 and 2029. In the final year of his contract, the amount will reduce to €100m (£83m/$103.5m). The report also adds that Musiala is all set to pocked a salary between €25m to €26m per season. </p>
