Sancho and his manager have been at loggerheads since the winger <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/explained-why-jadon-sancho-scapegoat-man-utd-erik-ten-hag/blt2d642821b1b191d8" target="_blank">claimed he was being made a "scapegoat"</a> after his performances in training were criticised. Since then, the winger has not played for the club and has been excluded from the squad altogether.

WHAT HAPPENED?

A new report from the <a href="https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/erik-tenhag-jadon-sancho-manutd-31247247" target="_blank">Daily Mirror</a> now claims that Ten Hag has made the decision to cut Sancho loose in January, whether he apologises to him or not. <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/ten-hag-breaks-silence-ronaldo-manchester-united-exit/blt4cf8885b015384b3" target="_blank">Ten Hag previously jettisoned Cristiano Ronaldo</a> after he criticised the club publicly and has done the same to Sancho. There is said to be interest, much like Ronaldo's exit, from Saudi Arabia, with Al-Ettifaq considering a January swoop.

There is also reported to be interest from both <a href="https://www.google.com/search?q=sancho+goal.com&amp;rlz=1C1GCEA_en-GBGB1025GB1025&amp;oq=&amp;gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUqBggAEEUYOzIGCAAQRRg7MgYIARBFGDsyBggCEEUYOTINCAMQABiDARixAxiABDIHCAQQABiABDIGCAUQRRg8MgYIBhBFGD0yBggHEEUYPNIBCDM4MTVqMGo0qAIAsAIA&amp;sourceid=chrome&amp;ie=UTF-8" target="_blank">Borussia Dortmund and Juventus</a> but Sancho has a contract worth £250,000-per-week, making any January exit complicated. A loan is therefore more likely than a permanent transfer.
